If you like to bike, scooter, golf cart, or just drive, the Cozumel Living activities are plentiful, and all very near. Cozumel is not a tremendously large island, approximately 15 miles wide and 30 miles long, you can drive to all corners within a half a day. Arriving is quite easy. Flights come in directly from many cities of US and Canada. Once you are here, you can take advantage of short air flights direct into Playa del Carmen or Cancun. The transport that most people use to get to the main land is by ferry. Several boats leave continuously throughout any day.
Many people enjoy driving down the island to the south to some of the beach clubs of the west end. The sand is soft, not hot, and the clubs offer many of the conveniences to make a day comfortable and enjoyable such as towels, massages, food, drinks, all within a snap of the finger. If you enjoy solitaire beaches, continue driving around the point and you will find yourself on the east side, with wide white beaches that make the Cozumel living experience incredibly unique.
Golfer? Try the 18 hole golf course constructed by the Nicklaus Design Group here on the Cozumel Island. Looking for different challenges on the course, then try any of the 15 courses found back in the Riviera Maya and Cancun area. This region is now known as the golf capital of Latin America for the amount of professional golf courses that have been introduced in the last 3 years including the Chameleon Golf Course host to the first Latin American PGA site.
Cozumel living also gives you access to some of the world's most famous scuba diving and snorkeling waters of the world. Dive in, see the amazing Caribbean sea life that never ceases to rejuvenate your life, and keeps your visitors talking for months of their experiences underwater. If living in your book includes fishing, then try your luck deep sea fishing departing from the local marina where you will always find an eager Mexican captain ready to show you his spots.
